Seems the end of the world hasn’t been postponed after all. My world
anyway. The summer didn’t end well for me and my sons, since Bob, my
husband of many years, left us in August for what we very much hope will
be a kinder world. He hadn’t been well for some time and perhaps, for
him, it was a relief. Now we are picking ourselves up and trying to
carry on – not with much help from Baxter the dog, who continues to bark
furiously at passing dogs, cats, squirrels, raccoons and, of course,
post people. Still, he’s warm and furry and his companionship helps a lot.
Obviously I haven’t written much lately, but I do have some ideas for
short stories and hope to get back in the groove before long. Meanwhile,
most of my books are available online.
Stay well – and Happy Reading.

Hmm … it seems that 2020 wasn’t the start of the healthy and peaceful
decade I predicted. Still, most of us are coping with the restrictions –
and the lack of toilet paper that came with spring – so, fingers
crossed, life will get better before long.
Bob and I are well so far, and son, Adrian, keeps us supplied with
groceries and soap. Other son, Nathan, is working from home in Nanaimo.
His wife, Barbara, and our five grandcats are coping well with this very
different world. And am I using all this unexpected time to write? Not
much, but I’m gearing up for it once the dust settles.
Good luck and good wishes to everyone. Stay well. Please.
